Sarah completed her law degree, LLB (Hons) in 2009 and her Legal Practice Course in 2010, both at Nottingham Trent University Law School.
Sarah joined Poppleston Allen as a paralegal in June 2010 and commenced her training contract in September 2010, qualifying as a solicitor in 2012.
And in April 2019, Sarah was made Partner.
Sarah advises a number of clients on various aspects of Licensing Law including New Premises Licence applications, major / minor Variations, licensing Reviews, Appeals, Sexual Entertainment law and advising on Leases.
Sarah also carries out due diligence.
Following a secondment with the Gambling Commission in Birmingham, Sarah also assists the lead Partner in preparing applications and providing advice to clients in relation to Betting and Gaming matters.
Sarah holds the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders, the Scottish Certificate for Licensing Board Members, the Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders and the Scottish Certificate for Licensing Standards Officers.
Sarah also trains clients and local authority employees in several licensing qualifications.
In conjunction with the BII, we have created an exam compiled from past paper questions.
