Nottingham-headquartered licensing law firm Poppleston Allen has announced that it has promoted Solicitor Steve Burnett to an Associate as of 3rd September 2018.
Steve has over 16 years’ experience as an alcohol licensing solicitor having joined Poppleston Allen in 2001
During his time with Poppleston Allen, he has become expert at handling licensing issues for small to medium-sized pub, restaurant and retail operators both in London where he is based and across the regions.
Lisa Sharkey, Managing Partner at Poppleston Allen, comments:
“I am delighted that we are further strengthening our firm with the promotion of Steve Burnett to Associate. For over a decade now he has delivered high quality licensing advice and exceptional service to our diverse client base.
In fact Steve’s reputation as a leading solicitor is such that he is now a sought after commentator for many of the leading licensing magazines and events.
And as a result, not only has Steve built an enviable reputation for himself, but has also strengthened the firm’s position as the leading legal advisors to the licensed trade.”
This promotion now means the firm, which has offices in Nottingham’s Lace Market and central London, has 8 partners, 3 associates, 6 solicitors and 41 support staff all focusing purely on alcohol licensing, associated regulatory and betting & gaming.
