The guidance, issued under Martyn’s Law, will set out more detail of the regulatory framework and how those caught by the regime will should comply with their obligations. The guidance is expected to show how the SIA will enforce the law and carry out inspections.
The draft guidance will be published alongside the Home Office’s section 27 statutory guidance which will set out a greater understanding of what premises and events will be required to do. The SIA have confirmed that the consultation will run for a minimum of 8 weeks.
