Licensing specialists Poppleston Allen are delighted to announce their continued sponsorship of the 2026 Malcolm Eidmans Award. The Award will be presented at the National Pubwatch Annual Conference taking place on Tuesday 24th February 2026 in Liverpool.
The National Pubwatch is a voluntary organisation established to promote best practices by supporting the work of local Pubwatch Schemes. It aims to ensure a safer drinking environment across all licensed premises in the United Kingdom.
The Award, named after former Chief Superintendent Malcolm Eidmans QPM, a founder of the National Pubwatch who passed away prematurely in 2012, aims to recognise the outstanding contribution of a Police Officer or member of Police staff in supporting the work of their local Pubwatch Schemes. This year, the award will be presented by Lord Graham Evans.
Partner at Poppleston Allen, Jonathan Smith and Barrister at Francis Taylor Building, Gary Grant, will speak and provide a legal update. This year’s agenda can be found here.
