Poppleston Allen sponsor the 2026 National Pubwatch Malcolm Eidmans Award

The award recognises the outstanding contribution made by a police officer or member of police staff

Licensing specialists Poppleston Allen are delighted to announce their continued sponsorship of the 2026 Malcolm Eidmans Award. The Award will be presented at the National Pubwatch Annual Conference taking place on Tuesday 24th February 2026 in Liverpool.

The National Pubwatch is a voluntary organisation established to promote best practices by supporting the work of local Pubwatch Schemes. It aims to ensure a safer drinking environment across all licensed premises in the United Kingdom.

The Award, named after former Chief Superintendent Malcolm Eidmans QPM, a founder of the National Pubwatch who passed away prematurely in 2012, aims to recognise the outstanding contribution of a Police Officer or member of Police staff in supporting the work of their local Pubwatch Schemes. This year, the award will be presented by Lord Graham Evans.

Paula Kioko joined Poppleston Allen in June 2022 as the marketing assistant for her sandwich year placement. In January 2024 she became the marketing associate.

She completed her BA in Journalism in 2021 and her MSc in Advertising and Marketing Communications in 2023, both at Nottingham Trent University.

Her day to day work currently revolves around the management of the website and social media platforms.

Paula works under the direction of the head of marketing to help reach the firm’s marketing goals and objectives.

She also holds the BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH).
