Specialist licensing and gambling solicitors, Poppleston Allen, is thrilled to announce its sponsorship of the 2025 Leisure Property Forum (LPF) Annual Dinner. The event, held at the prestigious Hilton Bankside Hotel, brought together key players from the leisure sector for an evening of networking, fundraising and celebration.

The successful dinner welcomed 400 senior decision-makers including operators, investors, agents, and other leisure sector professionals. The event not only served as a valuable networking opportunity but also as platform to raise funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity – a cause that holds deep significance for many.

The generosity of attendees helped raise £13,000 to support the hospital’s work in providing life-saving treatment and pioneering research.

The Leisure Property Forum is a highly regarded networking organisation that focuses exclusively on the wider leisure industry and its relationship with other sectors, such as retail, finance and commercial. The property-based forum offers regular high-quality seminars, events, and networking opportunities for anyone involved in the leisure industry.

Paula Kioko joined Poppleston Allen in June 2022 as the marketing assistant for her sandwich year placement.

In January 2024 she became the marketing associate.

She completed her BA in Journalism in 2021 and her MSc in Advertising and Marketing Communications in 2023, both at Nottingham Trent University.

Paula moved to the UK as an international student in 2018 from Nairobi, Kenya in order to enhance her academic and professional development.

Her day to day work currently revolves around the management of the website and social media platforms.

Paula works under the direction of the head of marketing to help reach the firm’s marketing goals and objectives.

In addition, Paula is also working towards her level 4 accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

She also holds the BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH).
