Overview

Kerry McGowan has been working in the London office since 2014 and has been a Paralegal since 2016. Kerry works closely with Lisa Inzani, Partner of the London office, and all other London solicitors and paralegals.

Kerry deals with a broad range of applications including complex new premises licence applications, variations of premises licences and pavement licences. Kerry has extensive licensing knowledge and has a strong working relationship with the licensing authorities which is key to her role.

Kerry’s strengths lie particularly with the licensing regime in Westminster and Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea who both have the highest concentration of licensed premises throughout England and Wales.

Recently, Kerry’s work has encompassed the minefield of outdoor drinking and dining as set out in the Business and Planning Act 2020.

Kerry McGowan graduated with a BA Honours degree in English and is currently studying to be a Chartered Legal Executive with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
