Aaron Newbold joined Poppleston Allen in September 2022 as a Paralegal.

Working closely with the gambling team, associates and partners, Aaron handles a broad range of range gambling related applications for a variety of both large and small operators. Applications which Aaron handles include new premises licences, variations, and transfers.

Aaron also handles gambling personal licence submissions and a variety of different permit applications from gaming machine notifications to prize gaming permits and family entertainment centre gaming machine permits.

Aaron also holds a BIIAB Level 2 Award in Working With Gambling Legislation.

He has a comprehensive background in both customer and client case management, taking ownership and effectively overseeing the clients journey through to initial conversations through to completion.

Before coming to Poppleston Allen, Aaron was previously the Senior Customer Manager at Boots HQ where he managed a range of complex issues including complaints, escalations and adverse events involving customers. Aaron spent a total of almost 10 years in Boots.

In 2011 Aaron obtained his bachelors degree in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University, specialising in illustration and performance.
