“The London Borough of Redbridge’s Licensing Committee met yesterday and we understand that the decision to recommend the introduction of the Late Night Levy to Full Council has been deferred until further notice.
Therefore, as it stands there is no decision to introduce the Levy in Redbridge and Full Council will not be considering the proposal at the next Council meeting later this month.
We will continue to keep you posted with any further details as and when the proposal is picked up again.
In the meantime, for operators in Redbridge, or in other areas where a Levy is either in place or being proposed, if you would like to understand how this may affect your business and the options available to you, please contact licensing solicitor Suraj Desor on s.desor@popall.co.uk or call 0115 953 8500.”
