“This weekend is officially the end of British Summertime, for this year anyway. At 2am on Sunday 27th October 2019, the clocks will go back 1 hour. This means that 2am effectively becomes 1am.
If your premises licence permits licensable activities and opening hours of 2am or later, and there is nothing on your licence to the contrary, then you will be able to trade for an additional hour to take account of the change in time and the clocks going back. No specific additional permissions are required with regards to this.
If licensing activities cease prior to 2am on your licence, then it is business as usual, and the premises will not benefit from an additional hour.”
