Overview

Emma Jones joined Poppleston Allen in 2001 as a Paralegal.

Emma has over 20 years experience in licensing applications under both the Licensing Act (2003) and the Gambling Act (2005). Her main day to day responsibilities include:

  • looking after admin for large clients;
  • new licences;
  • changes of designated premises supervisors (DPS);
  • pavement licences;
  • transfers;
  • variations;
  • minor variations;
  • changes of address and;
  • licensed premises gaming machine permits.

Emma works with a range of large operators including:

  • Mitchells and Butlers
  • Stonegate
  • Weezy
  • D&D London

On top of Emma’s licensing work, she is also responsible for the training of new starters including a number of placement students from Nottingham Trent University, some of which have been kept on and grown within the business.

Emma holds a number of BII accredited qualifications including the BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders and the BIIAB Level 2 Award For Licensing Practitioners (Alcohol) (ALPA).
