That’s entertainment

What does "facilities for making music mean"?

Q: What are ‘facilities for making music’? They are authorised on my licence but I have no idea what they are.

A: Entertainment facilities (for making music or indeed dancing) were removed by the Live Music Act in 2012. They are no longer licensable and do not need to be shown on your licence. Examples are dance floors, microphone stands and even electrical sockets. Ideally, your Licensing Authority should remove this authorisation – perhaps you can remind them to do so when you next apply for a minor variation, or change of DPS.
