#MyLicenceApp - 1500 users so far
Licensing law firm Poppleston Allen, has announced the launch of its revamped and free to download, My Licence iPhone application. The new version of the App makes it easier than ever for licensees and people working in the pub trade, to run their operations within the law.
My Licence helps people by giving them instant access to licensing and gambling law together with information on which local authorities have implemented polices that might affect their operations, such as Cumulative Impact Zones and Late Night Levies. It also includes a host of interactive tools such as a news feed, mock APLH exam, Temporary Event Notice Planner and a feature for storing licences so people can instantly find them when needed, no matter what time of day or night.
Commenting on the app redevelopment, Jonathan Smith, Poppleston Allen’s managing partner said: “Our new My Licence app is a great companion for anyone working in the licensed trade. Hopefully some of its features like the calculators for annual fees, minimum alcohol unit pricing and planning Temporary Events, will make their lives a little less hectic.”
Adding: “The old version of MyLicence was a hit with people in the trade and with very little promotion managed to get almost 1000 users. So we are confident of getting this number to 1500 by year end as news of its functionality grows.”
Feedback from people who saw the BETA version was very positive, particularly that from licensees and business development managers who felt the newly designed user experience was both enjoyable and easy.
My Licence can be downloaded free from the App Store, at http://bit.ly/poppallapp
