Commenting, Jonathan Smith, Managing Partner at Poppleston Allen said: At 01:00 on Sunday 29 March 2015 the clocks will jump forward by one hour.

If you normally stay open beyond 01:00, then check your Premises Licence contains permission to continue trading for an additional hour when British Summertime commences, so that your hours remain unaffected.

If they don't, then you will need to lodge a Temporary Event Notice to cover the additional hour's trading, and the last day to issue a Standard Temporary Event Notice will be for it to arrive at the Licensing Authority by Friday 13 March or, for a Late Temporary Event Notice, the last date for it to be issued would be for it to arrive at the Licensing Authority by Friday 20 March. However, remember a TEN only provides for a maximum capacity of 499 including staff and performers.

Don't delay - check your Premises Licences now.
