News: Service disruption in Wales due to two day strike 16 & 17 July 2008 -UPDATE
- Date: 16/07/2008

For clarity, when I mentioned "working days" in my last eNews I was simply stating that the councils were not working.
Under the Licensing Act 2003 working days means (any day other than a Saturday, a Sunday, Christmas Day, Good Friday or a day which is a bank holiday under the Financial Dealings Act 1971).
So what this means is that applications can still be served but will not be acknowledged or actioned by the council.
