A new service has been launched that is hoped will assist in the time pressures put on licensees and their employers. The new course, run by Poppleston Allen Training, sees it licensees complete the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders course and the Personal Licence Application on the same day.
Commenting, David Elphick, Training and Consultancy Manager at Poppleston Allen Training said: "We piloted the course with current Poppleston Allen Solicitors clients and the response has been fantastic. So good, that 75% of all NCPLH places are now booked on the combined package."
The service combines the course itself with the completion of all the relevant applicaton forms for the Personal Licence. These are then checked and passed to Poppleston Allen Solicitors who will apply for the Personal Licences on their behalf.
David added: "This new service saves candidates and companies a great deal of time and those that use our service no longer have to manage the process themselves and we ensure that all applications are completed correctly and submitted promptly to the correct Licensing Authorities and required bodies, such as the Criminal Records Bureau. The normal cost of the process, if done separately, would be in excess of £350 plus VAT, however this new service should save licensees at least £100".
