Susanna Poppleston - Senior Partner

Susanna is a founding partner of the firm and along with her co-founder Jeremy Allen, is the only star-rated licensing solicitor in the country, as awarded by her peers in the 2008 Chambers Legal Directory. Susanna is lauded as a "leading light" for her work on behalf of operators across the country.

Susanna deals with substantive and complex applications around the country but has particular knowledge of Westminster. She is a highly respected advocate and an accomplished conference speaker, regularly invited to advise at leisure industry conferences and seminars.

She was the legal correspondent for 'The Licensee & Morning Advertiser' for seven and a half years, until 2000 and has co-written the definitive pocket guide to the new licensing act, called The 2003 Licensed Trade Guide with Jeremy Allen and Graeme Cushion.

Susanna has also co-written a book with Jeremy Allen entitled 'Alcohol and Entertainment Licensing Law', with Professor Colin Manchester, published by Cavendish Publishing, April 2005 and this has been updated in a second edition published early in 2008.
