Steve came to Poppleston Allen as a paralegal in 2001 with an extensive background with criminal law, working at firms in both Nottingham and Sheffield. His experience with interviews under caution, Magistrates’, Crown and the Appeal Court is invaluable and is regularly used in his current roles in licensing.

Steve is an integral part of the Gaming and Betting, Regulatory and Licensing teams at Poppleston Allen in both the Nottingham and London offices.

Whilst dealing with general licensing matters on a day to day basis, he is also regularly involved with Sexual Entertainment Venue licensing and more complex licensing cases including appeals, reviews and Judicial Reviews in the High Court.

Steve also holds the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders, National Certificate for Licensing Practitioners (Gambling) and is also a BII qualified trainer.
