- From 6th April 2008 licensees will need to comply with The Control of Noise At Work Regulations 2005, which aim to protect workers from the effects of excessive noise
In addition, you may be visited by the Licensing Authority or Police Officers in relation to criminal offences such as underage sales, permitting drunkenness on licensed premises, breach of conditions on a Premises Licence.
All of these matters can give rise to prosecutions in the Magistrates Court with potential fines, in some cases, running into tens of thousands of pounds.
