News: The Live Music Bill closes on final hurdle

The Live Music Bill has passed both its Report Stage and 3rd Reading in the Commons today. It shall now go back to the House of Lords for approval of certain minor amendments, probably on 10th February 2012. It is hoped that Royal Assent will follow shortly thereafter.

The Bill however will not come into force until secondary legislation brings it into effect.
