Q&A: Temporary Event Notices

  • Date: 17/05/2012

Q. It seems that from 25th April I can have, in one calendar year 50 standard TENS and/or 10 late TENS, but if I reach the limit of either that's it. Does this mean as a Personal Licence Holder I can have 49 standard and 10 late TENS for example?

A. No. The Statutory Guidance makes it clear that the late TENS you use go to your overall maximum of 50 TENS. So the maximum number of TENS you can have is 50, whether that is purely standard TENS or a mixture of both standard and late TENs. And remember there is still a limit of 12 TENS per premises, so I assume you are considering using your personal limit at various different locations.
