News: Live Music in time for Queen's Jubilee?

The Live Music Bill passed its final stage in the House of Lords today, where certain minor amendments were approved. It will now proceed to Royal Assent.

Raising hopes of early implementation, Baroness Rawlings, the Government Minister in the Lords stated during the debate 'regarding the Olympics and Her Majesty the Queen's Jubilee, it would seem appropriate. I will take your wishes back to the Department for Culture Media and Sports'.
