News: Confirmation of Relaxation of Hours for Royal Wedding: Definitely

I have to say that last Wednesday, my previous eNews in relation to this matter slightly jumped the gun.
In fact last Tuesday, 29 March, the House of Lords Committee had approved a motion recommending a relaxation of hours for approval and that vote in favour of the relaxation in the full House occurred yesterday.
I am grateful to the eagle eyed amongst you who pointed out this distinction. However, I am happy to say that everything else in my earlier email was correct. Subsequently, I have been asked to confirm the position in relation to clubs and that is that the relaxation will also apply to premises with the benefit of a club premises certificate.
It seems that no extension of hours is straightforward these days, even that promoted by Central Government!
