Application for a Temporary Event Notice

Welcome to our Temporary Event Notice instruction form.

If you complete the details required we will then make a TENs application on your behalf.

We submit the application to the local authority and must do so 10 clear working days before the event is due to take place. When calculating 10 clear working days we do not include the day of the event or the day the council receive the application. For example, if the event is to take place on Saturday 22nd December 2007, we must send the application so that the council receive it on Friday 7th December 2007 for there to be 10 clear working days.

Likewise if the event takes place on Friday 21st December 2007 then we must submit the application so that the council receive it on Thursday 6th December 2007.

Bank holidays do not count as working days and should be taken into account.

If you think your event is near the 10 working day limit then please contact via the telephone once you have completed the form. This is particularly important if you are completing this form on a weekend day as we will not process the form until the Monday.

To make your experience quicker and easier have your premises licence and personal licence with you, if you have one. You must have your National Insurance Number. If you have had any previous TENs then please have details of the dates handy.

Our fee for making the application is £100 + vat + disbursements. The fee to the council is £21 for each TEN. If you are submitting multiple TENs our fee is £100 = vat for the first TEN and £50 + vat for subsequent TENs. The fee to the council remains the same on multiple applications at £21 each TEN.

Once you have submitted the TENs details to us via applications online we will contact you to confirm your instructions and arrange for payment and then prepare and submit the application.
